DR. INÊS GUEDES

DDS, MSc (TMD), MSc (Ortho), FRCD(C)

Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics

Dr. Guedes is a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics who earned her Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Manitoba, where she completed advanced training in braces, Invisalign, orthognathic surgery, and early treatment in growing patients. She has a strong interest in growth and development, including the assessment of airway health and mouth breathing, allowing for a comprehensive and proactive approach to children’s orthodontic care.

She also holds a Master of Science in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) and Orofacial Pain from the University of Alberta, providing additional expertise in diagnosing and managing TMJ conditions.

Dr. Guedes is a part-time clinical instructor in the Graduate Orthodontic Program at the University of Manitoba and has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists as Manitoba Regional Director and later as President (2023–2024). She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a distinction that reflects her commitment to excellence in orthodontic care.
